Replacement Power Control Module (PCM) / Motherboard - For ComfortBilt & Alpine Pellet Stoves

This Replacement Power Control Module (PCM) / Motherboard is used in select ComfortBilt and Alpine pellet stove models. There are two visually similar but electronically different versions, and correct identification is required before ordering.

Both versions are housed in a black plastic enclosure with a removable lid. The transformer color—visible through the square cutout window on the lid—is the key compatibility indicator.

⚠️ Compatibility Notice — READ BEFORE ORDERING

This PCM motherboard is available in two versions:

Version 1 — Fully Yellow Transformer

• Transformer appears entirely yellow

• Visible through the square cutout window on the PCM lid

• Compatible with user interface control panels designed for fully yellow transformer PCM boards

Version 2 — Half Yellow / Half Red Transformer

• Transformer is split yellow and red

• Visible through the square cutout window on the PCM lid

• Compatible with user interface control panels designed for half yellow / half red transformer PCM boards

⚠️ These two versions are NOT interchangeable. Using the incorrect PCM board may result in startup failure, error codes, or improper stove operation.

How to Identify the Correct PCM Board

You can determine compatibility in any of the following ways:

1. Check your existing PCM board

   • Remove the lid or look through the square cutout window

   • Match the transformer color to the product images

2. Match your existing User Interface Control Panel

   • Control panels are programmed to work with a specific PCM transformer version

3. Match the User Interface Control Panel you plan to purchase

   • Ensure both components are designed for the same transformer type

Compatible User Interface Panels

• Panels designed for fully yellow transformer PCM boards

• Panels designed for half yellow / half red transformer PCM boards

👉 The PCM motherboard and User Interface Control Panel must match transformer type to function correctly.
