Shipping Method
We utilize LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight companies to transport our stoves to your location. Our standard shipping service includes curbside delivery via a 53’ full sized semi-truck equipped with a liftgate. Please ensure that your delivery location is able to accommodate such a vehicle. Common delivery hazards include:
- Low hanging wires, service lines, branches, or other overhead hazards.
- Narrow roads, switchbacks, or other inaccessible roadways.
- Weather or weather related road damages or blockages.
Delivery Responsibilities
It is important to understand your responsibilities as a customer when it comes to the delivery of your stove:
- Curbside Delivery: Our delivery service includes bringing the stove to your curbside or the nearest accessible point to your home or structure.
- Liftgate: The delivery truck is equipped with a liftgate to safely lower the stove to the ground. Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery area is suitable for the use of a liftgate.
- Transportation to the Final Location: Moving the stove from the curbside or delivery point into your home or structure is your responsibility. The delivery personnel are not responsible for moving the stove beyond the curbside.
- Inspection: Before accepting the delivery, we strongly recommend inspecting the packaging for any visible damage. If you notice any damage to the packaging, please make a note of it on the delivery receipt. If at the time of delivery, the paperwork is signed, and merchandise is received in good condition, any damage or discrepancy claims will be denied. We strongly suggest you unbox and inspect the merchandise before the paperwork is signed.
- Product Inspection: After delivery, please inspect the stove itself for any damages or defects. In the rare event that you find any issues with your product, contact our customer service team immediately.
Delivery Timeframe
Our team strives to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. However, please note that delivery times may vary based on factors such as product availability and your location. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships, allowing you to monitor the progress of your delivery.
Additional Services
If you require additional delivery services beyond standard curbside delivery, such as inside delivery, please contact our customer service team to discuss available options and associated fees.

Shipping FAQs
How long does shipping take?
- Most orders are shipped the very next business day. Depending on the delivery location, it generally takes between 6-10 business days in transit. You should receive a call from the freight carrier approximately 48 hours ahead of time to coordinate the specific delivery date and time of your stove.
- Please ensure that someone is available to sign for the item. Each carrier has their own set scheduling that Comfortbilt has no control over. Please be aware of this, and be able to make accommodations as needed.
Where will the delivery driver place my pellet stove? (Standard Shipping)
- Pellet stoves are shipped via LTL truck with a liftgate, directly to your home. Typically, the driver will determine where the package can safely be placed. Common locations include: on the driveway or another flat, accessible area.
- Gravel, dirt, and other unpaved or uneven surfaces can be difficult to traverse, and could even be deemed as unsafe for delivery by the carrier.
Do you ship internationally?
- No, we strictly ship to the contiguous 48 states within the U.S. only. Visit our Canadian website at www.comfortbilt.ca to purchase our brand in Canada.
How long does it take to receive additional parts?
- Replacement parts, piping, and small accessories are shipped out via FedEx or USPS depending on the address given.
- Typical transit times are around 3-5 business days.
