This Replacement Power Control Module (PCM) / Motherboard is used in all Comfortbilt and Alpine pellet stove models.
⚠️ IMPORTANT — Updated PCM Design
All current replacement PCM boards now use the fully yellow transformer design.
The previous half yellow / half red transformer PCM has been discontinued and is no longer available.
If your stove already has a fully yellow transformer PCM, this board can be used as a direct replacement with the compatible fully yellow-version User Interface Control Panel.
⚠️ Older Half Red / Half Yellow PCM Owners — READ BEFORE ORDERING
If your stove currently has the older half yellow / half red transformer PCM, you cannot replace only the PCM motherboard with the new fully yellow version and continue using your existing interface panel.
When upgrading an older half yellow / half red system:
- The old PCM must be replaced with the current fully yellow transformer PCM
- The existing User Interface Control Panel must also be replaced with the compatible fully yellow-version interface panel
- The new PCM and interface panel must be used together
The older half yellow / half red interface panel is NOT compatible with the new fully yellow PCM.
If your stove has the older red/yellow PCM and you are replacing the motherboard, you will need to purchase both the new fully yellow PCM and the corresponding fully yellow-version User Interface Control Panel.
How to Identify Your Current PCM
Look through the square cutout window on the lid of your existing black PCM enclosure.
Fully Yellow Transformer
If the transformer visible through the window is entirely yellow, your stove is already using the current PCM configuration.
Half Yellow / Half Red Transformer
If the transformer is split between yellow and red, your stove is using the older PCM configuration.
If replacing this older PCM, the User Interface Control Panel must be upgraded at the same time.
PCM & Interface Panel Compatibility
The PCM motherboard and User Interface Control Panel are electronically matched and must be compatible versions.

Condition & Cosmetic Disclosure
Please Note: This PCM motherboard is brand new and fully functional. The outer plastic enclosure may show minor cosmetic scuffs or surface imperfections. These are cosmetic only and do not affect performance or reliability.
This is due to the manufacturer’s eco-friendly practice of reusing plastic housings to reduce waste and manufacturing costs.

Important Ordering Checklist
Before placing your order, confirm:
- Your ComfortBilt or Alpine pellet stove model is listed as compatible with this replacement PCM.
- Check the transformer color on your existing PCM through the square cutout window.
- If your existing transformer is fully yellow, order the current fully yellow replacement PCM.
- If your existing transformer is half yellow / half red, you must upgrade both the PCM and User Interface Control Panel to the current fully yellow versions.
- Do not attempt to use the older half yellow / half red-version interface panel with the new fully yellow PCM.
⚠️ Bottom Line
If your existing PCM has a half yellow / half red transformer, replacing it with the current fully yellow PCM also requires replacing your User Interface Control Panel with the compatible fully yellow version.
The old interface panel and new fully yellow PCM are not interchangeable or cross-compatible.
