Replacement User Interface Control Panel for HP41, HP42, and HP75C Pellet Stoves

This Replacement User Interface Control Panel is engineered specifically for Alpine HP41, HP42, and HP75c pellet stoves. These models use a thermocouple-based Proof of Fire system, which is fundamentally different from standard ComfortBilt panels that rely on a heat-activated snap disc.

⚠️ This control panel is NOT interchangeable with standard ComfortBilt replacement panels. Programming differences make correct selection critical.

🔥 Proof of Fire Programming Difference

This control panel is programmed to interpret a temperature range from a thermocouple sensor to establish Proof of Fire.

• Thermocouple-based temperature range verification

• Continuous temperature monitoring

Standard ComfortBilt panels are programmed for:

• Heat-activated snap disc

• Simple yes/no (open/closed) signal

Using the incorrect panel type will result in improper startup or failure to operate.

HP41 & HP42 Models

There are two versions of this control panel for HP41 and HP42 stoves. Compatibility is determined by the PCM (Power Control Module) transformer color.

• Version A: Compatible with PCM boards that have a fully yellow transformer

• Version B: Compatible with PCM boards that have a half-yellow / half-red transformer

The transformer color is visible through the square cutout window on the PCM board lid and must be verified before ordering.

HP75c Model

• Uses one PCM board version only

• No transformer-based compatibility issues at this time

• Only one control panel option is required

👉 HP41 and HP42 models must match both the stove model and PCM transformer version selected from the dropdown.

• PCM boards or wiring configurations outside those listed above

Required Selection — Model & PCM Verification

You must select the correct model and PCM board version from the dropdown menu before checkout.

1. Confirm your stove model (HP41, HP42, or HP75c)

2. For HP41 / HP42:

   • Inspect the PCM board

   • Identify the transformer color (fully yellow or half yellow / half red)

3. Select the matching option from the dropdown

Please Note: This control panel is brand new and fully functional. The plastic housing may show minor cosmetic scuffs or surface imperfections. These are cosmetic only and do not affect performance.

This is due to the manufacturer’s eco-friendly practice of reusing plastic casings to reduce waste and production costs.
